CONTENT STRATEGY

Before developing any creative concepts, I delved deeply into the subject matter to gain a comprehensive understanding of the proposed cruise berthing project, the environmental concerns surrounding it, and the perspectives of the organizations involved. This research allowed me to identify the audience's knowledge gaps and prioritize the messages that would have the greatest impact.

Rather than presenting all of the information at once, I structured the campaign as a progressive journey. Early content focused on building awareness and explaining the referendum in simple, accessible language. As the campaign progressed, messaging shifted toward illustrating the potential environmental, economic, and community impacts before culminating in clear calls to action that encouraged citizens to go out and vote.
To maintain interest over an entire month, I intentionally alternated between educational graphics, emotionally driven photography, reels, and infographic-style content. This variety created natural pattern interruptions within users' feeds while ensuring different learning styles and audience preferences remained engaged.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

The client provided an existing campaign identity, including the logo, colour palette, and core brand assets, which served as the foundation for the campaign. My role was to extend that identity into a cohesive visual system across digital, print, and outdoor touchpoints while ensuring complex information remained clear, engaging, and easy to navigate.

Because the campaign involved a significant amount of factual information, clarity became the guiding principle behind every design decision. I used generous white space, strong visual hierarchy, and concise messaging to make complex topics easier to understand. Once the rack card was approved as the campaign's primary educational resource, it became the visual foundation for all subsequent assets, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and outdoor advertising.
